PACETS'S UPGRADE!

The latest 2007 UPGRADE to the range of Pacet Fans elevate them to a new level.

Profans were introduced some 15 years ago and have just got better.

To IMPROVE the range, by introducing the latest BETTER technology, as used in smaller sizes from 7" to 12", the BIG motor CF602 is now fitted as standard on the ENHANCED specification through 13", 14", 15" (New fan size) & 16".

These motors are to OEM specification, submergible (tested up to 8 hours), radio suppressed, with twin ball bearings, fire and spark protected.

TOUGH IMPROVEMENTS

Matching the motor IMPROVEMENTS, for the larger sizes, further changes to the blade material now containing G.P. up to 40%, which provides a stiffer, stronger and more durable blade.

This completes a new standard for stability for competitions of all kinds, i.e. off road, rally, cross country, race, and of course normal road use.

PACET

PACET specialise in coaxial fans. These have advantages of using little in the way of space and have a relatively small amp draw in the system.

Pacet use permanent magnet motors, manufactured to their design and specification, most are with twin ball bearings, radio suppressed and water resistant to beyond industry standards. Permanent magnet is more expensive to produce but uses less than half the power of other after-market and OE fans. This is a vital factor when adding to a standard vehicle's power loading. The "I'll just go to the breakers yard" expert can get himself a bundle of problems. We know that because they ring us to solve their problems.

Don't forget we have water resistant versions for the 4x4 offroaders who enjoy sitting up to their armpits in dark muddy waters!

Size is always an important issue so we have a wide range from 7" to 16" nominal blade diameters. We quote the nearest blade size rather than the overall as we do not want to mislead anyone. For shroud diameter add approximately 12mm (1/2").

The outer rim height is just 35mm which helps slide the fans behind obstructions. Near the centre, where the motor fits, it rises to 50mm. Each fan range uses a motor suitable for it's application, taking varying radiator thicknesses, cooling and performance requirements into account.

PACET FAN FEATURES:

  5. 4 slide-in mounts for 90 degree and straight 5mm threaded mountings, logically positioned to fit top and bottom fixing.
  6. Interchangeable with most popular European and US production.
  7. Curved shroud radials for greater strength and quieter blade performance (no need for curved blades.)
  8. Outer edge thickness 35mm and 'H' centre only 50mm, excluding motor and spacer, make fitting easier.
  9. Multi holed centre fixing for a wide range of motor cable location.
  10. Built in fingerguard which should always be an essential safety feature for all fans.

  11. Brass insert on all blades for accurate, reliable service and assembly, guaranteeing balanced smooth running.
  12. Innovative eleven bladed design with greater effective area also overcomes the throb of evenly spaced blades.
  13. Computer designed graduated blade profile provides large end section with angled tip to maximise airflow where most work is performed.
  14. This blade design provides maximum airflow with minimum amp draw, compared with the normal straight blade construction.
  15. Strengthening triangular tabs at the end of every radial spoke joining the rim (see top pic)
  16. High speed blade contour for maximum airflow.
  17. Nominal blade size in inches, ie. 7" - 8" -10" -11" -12" -13" -14" + 16", either directional, as Pullers or Blowers, or as universal, Reversable (by turning over) blade version.
  18. Pacet Fan Kits come complete with a quick mounting fitting kit, capillary thermostat and manual thermostat adjuster.

A little history...Pacet have been in the car parts sector of the industry since 1974, although Pacet's technical director's experience started in 1958 with Speedwell. Pacet manufacture their own DC fans and believe to be the only UK manufacturer of this line in the country based in the Thames Valley.

OPTIONAL ELECTRONIC FAN CONTROL UNIT

ELECTRONIC FAN UNIT IS ADJUSTABLE SO THE FAN CAN CUT IN AT THE OPTIMUM OPERATING TEMPERATURE.

The unit is easy to fit by cutting a suitable coolant hose (normally the top hose) and inserting the unit in between and securing it with the jubilee clips. Then simply wire it in, either direct to a permanent live, or a switched live if you do not want your fan/s to run on with the ignition off .

The unit is water resistant and has 12 months warranty.

It is suitable for most automotive and marine applications.
